You can surf on internet, sells books (i.e. on Amazon.com),
and catalog theses books (or other type of documents) directly to @Library

Catalog document

• Books, videos, discs, CD-ROM.
• No limit in the number of documents managed (also in local network)
• These documents have following index for search : Title and subtitles, words in the titles, Authors, Publishers, Collection, Subjects, Dewey, Classification, barcode, localisation.
• Authority lists automatically created for these index, and search of these index by the first letters of the word (and when clicking on on the arrow on the left of the field, you list all the homonymous indexes).
• Possibility to associate a picture (bitmap, gif, jpg,...) to each document, and a text

Multi criteria search

• By Title and subtitles, words in the titles, Authors, Publishers, Collection, Subjects, Dewey, Classification,  localisation
• Search by authority lists (Author, Publisher, Collection, Subject)

Print

• Standard print format using all kinds of indexes, on the screen or printer
• Others formats by data export on ASCII files or Microsoft Excel (using DDE)

Data Import and Export

• Import online with bookstores internet sites (Amazon.com, Amazon.fr, FNAC.com,...)
• Customization of data export (on Microsoft Excel, ASCII files, Win Library format, UNIMARC)

Borrowing of documents  (Loan Management version only)

• Management of yours friends, Check in and out, Return of documents

PROCEDURE TO CATALOG ONLINE

• Choose the Bookstores : Goto Manage / Download Internet Filters : Then click on Download Button to list all the existing filters with the Booksellers Internet Site. Choose in the list those who want and clik on Arrow Button to download the ad hoc softwares.
• On Create windows (to catalog), choose the Bookstore  in the list (at the bottom of the window). And then click on Internet connection Button. A window appear, embedding your browser, in which you are on the home page of the book seller.
• You surf, and when you find the searched document , you click on the button named "Catalog from your bookstore". You must wait a few seconds, that software execute the filter and put the information on the catalog window. You confirm, and click on Create Button, and you return to surf window
